Booking vaccinations via GP
GP Surgeries in Islington are only able to provide covid vaccinations for patients aged 50 and over, or those who are in a clinically high risk group. We also only have access to Pfizer vaccinations at present.
If you are not in a clinically high risk group, over the age of 50, or if you require an alternative to Pfizer, please contact 119 to arrange your covid vaccination.
Booster Vaccinations and 3rd Primary Doses
The current guidelines for booster vaccinations is 6 months after your 2nd dose. We cannot offer early booster vaccinations for the purpose of travel or otherwise.
The NHS has identified patients who are immunocompromised and eligible to receive a 3rd primary vaccination dose. Those who have been identified will receive an invitation directly from the NHS to book an appointment.
Covid Vaccination Administration Queries
Please note that due to extremely high demand, administration queries related to the covid vaccinations can take 10-15 days for a response, and we are unable to deal with any urgent queries related to travel.
Some queries may take longer than others, as the majority cannot be resolved in-house and require communications with external services. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
GP Surgeries do not provide covid vaccination certificates for the purpose of travel or otherwise. If your vaccination was administered in the UK, you can view your record on the Covid Pass feature of the NHS App.

Documentation of vaccinations given abroad
If your vaccination was not administered by the NHS, you are not able to receive NHS certification at this time.
For vaccinations from abroad to be visible within the new Covid Pass feature of the NHS App or for the purpose of the paper certificates, they need to also be coded within the National Immunisations System (NIMS) on top of being recorded on your GP record.
At the moment vaccines administered overseas cannot be recorded in the NHS England vaccine system (NIMS) so no vaccine certificate is currently available from the NHS. This issue is being worked on and an update is expected shortly.
Incorrect or Missing Vaccination Records
If you believe you have missing or incorrect COVID-19 vaccination data, please call 119 and ask the call agent to make a referral to the VDRS team on your behalf.
The Vaccine Data Resolution Service (VDRS) aims to resolve missing or incorrect vaccination records for people vaccinated in England who have a current NHS number and are registered with a GP practice in England. Please note: 119 and VDRS call agents will not provide clinical advice and cannot assist at this time with queries related to vaccinations received overseas.
If the query relates to personal information that is incorrect on the patient record (e.g. name, address), these will still need to be resolved by emailing the practice.
